Speed Test

This test measures the connection speed from you the customer, through our network to the point where we connect to the Internet.

This test is a more accurate measurement of your bandwidth than speed test sites found on the Internet. The Internet is a shared network. It is not owned or controlled by any one entity. This means that no ISP can provide true bandwidth guarantees accross the Internet. These considerations skew the results of any test that must transit the Internet.

By placing the server that provides this test at the edge of our network we eliminate the uncontrollable and uncertain performance of the Internet while giving our customers an accurate measurment of the performance of our network.
